2025 will go down as one of the most memorable years in Search Seven’s history.
From award wins and industry recognition, to a record year of fundraising and the launch of their new website and rebrand. It has set the stage for an even bigger 2026 as they celebrate turning 15 as a search marketing agency for social good.
Awards, Recognition & Impact 2025 brought some incredible achievements for the Search Seven team, including:
• Best SME winner at the Brighton & Hove Business Awards, which was a huge moment of pride for the whole agency.
• Gavin Willis (Founder and CEO) was inducted into the BIMA 100, recognising him as one of the UK’s most influential digital leaders.
• The agency received a Highly Commended in the Community Hero award at the Sussex Business Awards.
These accolades are a testament not just to their work but to the impact they strive to have in the communities they serve.
2025 was also the year the search marketing agency officially launched its new website and brand refresh, showcasing a modern identity that better reflects who they are today: a community-driven search marketing agency with deep expertise and big ambition.
The refresh reinforces their commitment to supporting their three core audiences: clients, agency partners, and the community.
2025 also marked the agency’s best-ever fundraising year, with an incredible £32,000 raised for charities across the UK and beyond.
From community events to industry meetups, every initiative carried a purpose.
The year was wrapped up by the Search Seven Saloon in October, which brought the community together for an unforgettable night of networking, entertainment, and fundraising.
This brought Search Seven tantalisingly close to their long-term target of raising £177,000 by the end of 2026 – a year ahead of target! With that goal now in reach, they’re setting their sights higher…
A New Target: £200,000 by the End of 2026
Gavin Willis, Founder and CEO, goes on to say: “As Search Seven enters its milestone 15th year, we’re announcing a bold new goal of increasing our fundraising to date to £200,000 for charity by the end of 2026.
It’s fitting that such an ambitious target lands as we celebrate 15 years of Search Seven. Giving back has been at the heart of everything we do since day one, and this year we’ll be doubling down on that commitment to celebrate our birthday in style.”
Looking Ahead: A Huge Year of Events for 2026
As we celebrate 15 years, we’re planning our biggest events calendar yet with a series of roundtable sessions to bring marketers, founders, and leaders together.
Rockinghorse Ryder Cup 2026 – 23/24th April @ East Sussex National Golf Club
• With the scores tied at 2-2, this is set to sell out fast!
• 16 v 16 over 2 days of fun, competitive golf
• This event will officially launch from February
• With players from previous years having early booking privileges
Bowls Battle 2026 – June 11th @ Portslade Bowls Club
• 18 businesses vs 18 agencies
• Food and drinks included
• Launching in March
Plus, our BIG birthday bash is being planned for October/November to mark this incredible milestone. More details to be shared soon!
Every event will continue to include a charitable fundraising element, ensuring our celebrations give back to the community that has supported us from the start.
Over the last two years, our charity referral scheme has grown into a league (aptly named S Club 7%) – leading to over 100 referrals. For any closed leads we have signed up as a new client, we gift 7% of the revenue in the first year, with 2% going to the referrers’ charity of choice. Since it launched, we have donated over £10,000 to some fantastic charities.
The league continues into 2026, and is now into its fourth season (6 months in a season) as we continue to bring our community together in many different ways and forms to have fun and make a tangible difference to charities that need our support.
