Brighton, Gatwick and now Eastbourne

Mike Monk Events expands its stable of one-day business shows and announces new partnerships.

It all started with Brighton & Hove Business Show… Heading towards its fourth year at the Amex Stadium in 2025, the one-day event has been such a success it spawned the inaugural Gatwick Business Show. Held in partnership with Gatwick Diamond Business in October, that event is set to return next year too – after ticking all the right networking boxes for attendees.

But that’s not all. Mike Monk Events has now partnered with Brilliant Businesses and Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce to announce a third business show for 2025 – in Eastbourne. Eastbourne Business Show will be staged at The Kings Centre on Wednesday, September 10. The headline sponsor has been confirmed as Lightning Fibre.

For Mike Monk, it’s all about bringing events closer to business communities so that they can easily access them and benefit from what they have to offer – from unlimited all-day networking to valuable seminars and workshops. It is also about listening to feedback and making changes that will improve events year-on-year.

“Eastbourne is a place many of my exhibitors want to explore – not just for growth but network building,” said Mike. “Together with Brilliant Businesses and Eastbourne Chamber of Commerce, I think we can deliver an event that people will not just benefit from but enjoy.”

Behind the scenes, Mike has been tweaking Brighton & Hove Business Show to ensure it offers an improved experience year-on-year.

He said: “I’m not just talking about ensuring the sandwiches don’t run out by lunchtime! It’s important to properly link the two exhibition lounges so that footfall is equal. That’s why I have worked with the team at the Amex to create an entirely new space that will bring the lounges together.

“In terms of Gatwick, the show will be back next year because of popular demand. The feedback has been brilliant, and Gatwick Diamond Business is again my partner for this event.”

Brighton & Hove Business Show will take place on Thursday, June 5. Gatwick Business Show will return to the Crowne Plaza Felbridge on Thursday, October 16.

Visitor registrations will open nearer the time.

Stand bookings for all three shows have opened and are expected to sell out quickly. To aid those looking to exhibit, Mike’s website team has added ‘live’ floor plans to the website so that anyone interested in booking a stand can see which ones have already sold.
