Brighton Dome Scoops ‘Unusual’ Award

Brighton Dome, one of the city’s most iconic venues, is celebrating after taking home Bronze in the Best UK Unusual Venue category of the prestigious M&IT Industry Awards.

Presented at a glittering ceremony compered by TV legend Eammon Holmes at Battersea Evolution on 03 March, Brighton Dome was one of six finalists in the Best UK Unusual Venue category.

Designed to celebrate corporate meeting and conference venues that are outstanding in their field and have an offer beyond the norm, Brighton Dome was a natural fit for success – taking home an award in this category for the second year in a row.

Speaking after the event, Helen Rouncivell, Conference & Event Sales Manager commented: “We are beyond delighted to be recognised at the M&IT Industry Awards, especially this year as the Awards celebrate their 30th anniversary.

“We strive to make our conference facilities second to none, while offering a unique Brighton flair as befits our beautiful venue. To have received such an award as a result of votes from our clients and contemporaries is a real honour.”

Building on its current services, Brighton Dome is undergoing major refurbishment works over the next 18-months, which will see the venue offer cutting edge facilities for conferences and events.

Brighton Dome Concert Hall will remain untouched and available for hire throughout the re-development project and beyond, with a maximum capacity of 1,700.
