Ellis Plans in Spotlight at Annual Event

Over 70 people descended on the Ellis headquarters in Eastbourne this week for the annual Sub-Contractor and Supplier Open Day.

The event was organised to give local and regional businesses in the construction supply chain the opportunity to hear how Ellis is developing their workforce and explore opportunities for greater collaboration.

Managing Surveyor at Ellis, Clive Foster, said: “It was great to see so many other businesses at the event. There are a lot of really exciting developments taking place at Ellis, and we are looking forward to forging stronger relationships with existing and new colleagues within the industry. We are already working in the industry on an increasing share of larger construction projects and we are encouraged by the support we are receiving from our supply chain partners.

“Looking ahead we are seeing really strong growth across all areas of the business and are recruiting exceptional people to meet the demands of a rapidly growing portfolio of sites in Sussex.”

Ellis employs 50 staff and their current projects include a new development of 10 apartments and four terrace town houses on King Edward’s Parade in Eastbourne.
