Networking event sponsored by Lightning Fibre in aid of Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.

Join the Big Business Breakfast Club on Friday 19th January for its first networking event of 2024. The breakfast is being held at The Old Ship Hotel where the BBBC team will be on hand to facilitate any introductions.

As always, Marketing Genius, Alex Ryan, of Marketing 101, will also be on hand with valuable marketing hints and tips. The meeting starts around 8am, but the networking starts from 7am, breakfast served at 8.30, the meeting runs til 10am, but we have the room til 11am, so plenty of time for networking.

The sponsor – Lightning Fibre

“We are a cutting edge, community minded full fibre network operator and ISP based in Eastbourne, East Sussex.”

Unlike a ‘fibre’ network, which may include old copper wire, Lightning Fibre is undertaking a major infrastructure upgrade in towns including Eastbourne, Hastings, Hailsham, St Leonard’s, Heathfield, and Broad Oak, laying a brand new ‘full fibre’ broadband network.

This FTTP/FTTH (fibre to the premises / fibre to the home) network connects street cabinets directly to modems using fibre optic cables all the way. This is why the network is both hyper reliable and hyper fast.

Guest speaker – Jo hunter- food lover @ Piglets Pantry

Jo is Responsible for literally everything that goes out of the door and for single handedly starting the Piglets journey. A keen foodie, often seen out on site talking to fans, developing new products with Chefs and spreading the Piglets love.

Sponsor’s nominated charity – Rockinghorse Children’s Charity

Rockinghorse Children’s Charity was set up in 1967 by Dr Trevor Mann as the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton.

It raises money to provide life-saving medical equipment and additional services with the aim of improving the lives of sick children throughout Sussex.

Co-host, standing in for the legendary Sam Thomas, Lindsay Clay

Lindsay was named in the 2024 Top 100 Inspiring Female Entrepreneur, was RWC Entrepreneur of The Year 2022, is a qualified coach, networking champ, social concierge and radio host. She is passionate about connecting people through supporting local businesses.
