Join Rockinghorse for their charity Bonfire Quiz this November

The Brighton-based children’s charity is excited to see the return of their popular quiz night, taking place at the Palm Court restaurant on Brighton’s Palace Pier.

If you’re a fan of a quiz and fancy a fun night out, why not get your tickets for the Rockinghorse Bonfire Quiz this November?

The quiz, taking place in the Palm Court Restaurant on Brighton’s Palace Pier on 4 November, is sure to be a great evening with all the proceeds going to support sick children throughout Sussex.

Quizmasters for this year’s event are Gareth and Lynn Sheppard from Quiz Host UK. Gareth and Lynn have been hosting quizzes for Rockinghorse for several years and the charity is really looking forward to welcoming them back after missing out on live quiz events for the last 18 months.

Rockinghorse, the official fundraising arm of the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton, raises money to provide live-saving medical equipment and additional services with the aim of improving the lives of sick children throughout Sussex. 

Currently, the charity is fundraising for a range of new projects including toys to distract young patients visiting the children’s emergency department in Brighton, specialist resuscitation training equipment for staff and parents at Chichester Hospital and a range of sensory equipment for Whoopsadaisy, an organisation supporting children with Cerebral Palsy and other physical disabilities.

Participants can expect a great quiz with lots of fun trivia questions along with a fish and chip supper, welcome glass of Prosecco and raffle, all taking place in a great venue on the iconic Brighton landmark.

Janella Merritt, Head of Fundraising at the charity, said: “We’re really looking forward to hosting our Bonfire Quiz this year. We’ve missed running this popular event and can’t wait to welcome lots of our supporters for a bit of friendly quiz competition to help support a great cause!”
