Knill James Targets Travel Sector with new ATOL License

Leading chartered accountancy firm and UK200Group member, Knill James, is set to target travel business having been granted a license to carry out complex ATOL reporting work.

The ATOL Reporting Accountants’ scheme was developed by the CAA in April this year, to help improve the standard of ATOL reporting.

Knill James is now registered as a licensed practice, with joint senior partners Chris Ketley and Kevin Powell the licensed practitioners.

Kevin explained: “We are looking forward to working with an increased number of ATOL licensed travel businesses. We understand the unique complexities of the travel industry, having worked with clients in this sector for many years. Our service goes beyond accounting reports and we are also available to discuss strategies for business growth and development.”

The two partners will also participate in continual professional development to ensure their knowledge of the travel industry and ATOL requirements are kept up to date.
