Senior architect and director of Koru Architects Mark Pellant and planning consultant Nigel Alderton have decided to work together to offer free mini consultations to visitors attending the ever-popular South of England Show, 9-11th June.

The two have successfully worked together on projects for many years, and with the current issues with the Brighton planning service, Mark feels it’s more important than ever to collaborate with people who have an intimate knowledge of the planning industry. Before becoming an independent consultant, Nigel worked as a planner for Lewes and Wealden district councils.SOE show

Teaming up means they are able to provide well-rounded advice to locals and tourists attending the Show. Mark explains: “It’s great to have Nigel on board because he has a real wealth of planning knowledge so together we can answer almost any question people are likely to ask about their building projects”.
He added: “Last year a lot of people were interested to talk about their dream extension or other project – but didn’t have any of the details as they weren’t expecting an ad-hoc architect’s consultation. This year I want to encourage people to bring their floor plans and photos along!”

The South of England Show, taking place near Gatwick Airport, is run by the South of England Agricultural Society and aims to celebrate and showcase country life in a family-friendly weekend event. It includes food, music, an animal parade, demonstrations and numerous stalls.
