Local Businesses have come Together with Santander to Raise Over £3,400 for Age UK and Barnardo’s
3rd October 2016Santander’s Corporate Bank recently invited fifteen local businesses to join them in charity cricket tournament in a bid to raise money for Age UK and Barnardo’s – Santander’s official charity partners.
Fourteen employees from Santander Corporate offices across Sussex battled against fifteen other local businesses, including Alexander Rose, ASL, Carpenter Box, Morrison Solicitors, RSM, T4 Mechanical & Electrical, 1st Central Insurance, Underground Gym, EMC, Sussex County Cricket Club, Stevens and Bolton, DotSquares, Penfold Verrall, Rix & Kay and award-winning Gatwick-based law firm, DMH Stallard, who won the tournament.
Held at the Sussex County Cricket Club, the event has raised £3,400 so far, including contributions from the bank’s Matched Donations Scheme for staff. Both of Santander UK’s chosen charity partners – Age UK and Bernardo’s – have been supported by the bank for a number of occasions since the beginning of this year.
