Mayo Wynne Baxter sponsor East Grinstead Rugby Club

Mayo Wynne Baxter have announced that they are now sponsoring East Grinstead Rugby Club. With their offices close by in East Grinstead, Forest Row and Gatwick, the partnership promises to be beneficial for both the club and the firm.

East Grinstead Rugby Football Club (EGRFC) is one of the oldest rugby clubs in Sussex having been established in 1929 and has one of the most prestigious facilities in the county being the owner of more than 14 acres of sports ground and excellent facilities built in the last 20 years.

The membership and management of the club decided at the end of the last playing season that the club could no longer sustain the increasing costs of playing in the higher RFU leagues and reverted back to being a true community club providing rugby coaching and playing opportunities to more than 400 children, girls and boys, and nearly 150 adults.

Mayo Wynne Baxter saw the opportunity to sponsor true “grass roots” rugby and have become a gold sponsor of EGRFC. This sponsorship is extremely valuable to the rugby club as it restructures its management processes and approach to the game. At the same time the sponsorship from Mayo Wynne Baxter has enabled EGRFC to upgrade its function facilities and the club is now able to host parties, weddings and other functions for not only its members but its sponsors and sponsor employees.
