Octopus Co-Founder, Guy Myles Joins Crunch Accounting Board
29th November 2016Co-founder of Octopus Investments, Guy Myles, has joined the board of one of the UK’s fastest growing online accountancy firms, Crunch Accounting
Myles will take an active advisory role alongside other board members, including Crunch co-founders Darren Fell and Steve Crouch; Crunch chairman and former Skype CEO, Michael van Swaiij and director and operations director, Justine Cobb.
Prior to joining Crunch, Myles co-founded investment company Octopus Investments in 2000, which now employs 500 people and manages £6 billion on behalf of more than 50,000 investors globally.
Octopus has backed hundreds of household name brands, from snack box company Graze and travel club Secret Escapes to property search engine Zoopla. Octopus is also the UK’s largest investor in solar farms, contributing £1.8billion to renewable energy.
In 2015 Myles launched Flying Colours, an affordable online financial advisory service that combines personal one-to-one advice with technology.
