Search Seven marks huge charity milestone with spectacular event
14th November 2023The first ever Search Seven Charity Ball delivers a fun vibe in celebration of £100,000 fund- raising target being hit in glittering fashion.
Brighton’s very own Ant & Dec (sam Thomas and search seven founder, Gavin willis) hosted the first-ever S7 Charity Ball at the Grand Hotel in Brighton.
Staged last month, it was an occasion that kicked off with a drinks reception, followed by a three-course meal, huge charity auction and raffle and then live entertainment, with a 9 piece band and a 7 hole mini golf.
A whopping £11,000 was raised on the night.
Search Seven rolled out the red carpet to celebrate its huge achievement of raising over £100,000 for 47 different charities since they formed in 2011, with a clear vision to use the agency for good.
More than 200 supporters came together to reflect on what they have so far achieved as a community that is passionate about giving back.
Eighteen charities were in attendance, as well as Search Seven’s clients, partner agencies, friends and family.
Webtrends Optimize was the headline sponsor of the Charity Ball. Co-sponsors were project manager on demand, Oakwood Lofts, Accredo Secured Business Finance, the WOW company and The Agency Collective.
Everyone who attended agreed it was an unforgettable evening, and a fitting celebration that was shared with all those who have supported Search Seven since 2011.
Guest speaker was Donna Holland, CEO of Search Seven’s flagship good cause, Rockinghorse Children’s Charity.
In an emotional part of the evening, she told everyone how the funds are being used to support the children of sussex and all charities being supported in the search seven #S7100 campaign.
This was followed by a moving video illustrating the impact Search Seven has had through its fundraising efforts.
Search Seven also used the evening to highlight its support for The Sussex Beacon and all other charities it has supported as part of their latest charity campaign.
Gavin Willis, founder and CEO of Search Seven, said: “I was absolutely blown away by how well the evening went.
“The room looked fantastic and the vibe in the room was just electric.
“The evening was so much fun, with clients, charities, partner agencies, and supporters, all rallying together to show true community spirit – it was a special night and I am so proud of what we have achieved.”
Search Seven would like to thank everyone who came along, donated prizes, took part in the raffle, and bid in the auction.
