Sussex Chamber of Commerce Affiliates with Bognor Regis Chamber of Commerce & Industry
11th February 2016The Sussex Chamber of Commerce has formed yet another new town partnership with Bognor Regis Chamber of Commerce & Industry officially becoming the third town in Sussex along with Newhaven and Crowborough, to join forces with the nationwide body.
Further to these new partnerships, a re-branded Sussex Chamber of Commerce is looking to affiliate with additional town chambers across the county of Sussex.
Consequently, these coalitions will foster better coordination and communication amongst the business community across the county.
Sussex Chamber Chief Executive Ana Christie said: “We are gaining considerable momentum with Bognor Regis Chamber of Commerce & Industry becoming the first Chamber in West Sussex to become affiliated to Sussex Chamber of Commerce.”
“Bognor Regis District Chamber will retain its independence and character but by standing together we are stronger. We will have more influence at local and national level but also work in close partnership to support members and drive business growth. I hope the move will encourage more town Chambers to affiliate. The move will foster better coordination among the business community county-wide.”
The Bognor Regis Chamber of Commerce & Industry was formed in 1922 and whilst preserving great heritage but with an eye on the future, the Chamber represents a voice, information point and network for local businesses to prosper.
Sussex Chamber of Commerce is accredited by the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC). Bognor Regis Chamber of Commerce & Industry members will be able to take part in national BCC surveys to influence government policy, as well as attend joint networking events to bring greater opportunities to business.
