After our big reveal in our last issue of SBT we have been working tirelessly during lockdown and are delighted to announce that our fully functioning community platform will be live from 1st June 2020.

By bringing five different platforms together we have created a single business ecosystem that can support all businesses with different needs at different times in their commercial journey.

The Community Platform

Our Community Platform is a place for people to meet, discuss the topics relevant to them, create new relationships, learn new skills and even win new business. Events can be booked and members can join, upgrade and get rewarded for being part of County Business Clubs.

The Business Funding Platform

The County Business Clubs finance team is ready to help you raise funds for your start-up or scale-up. Our crowdfunding platform has access to thousands of qualified investors and can handle small or large investment needs.

If you have an existing profitable business that needs to scale-up then we can introduce you to trusted regulated brokers which we have used ourselves, that can reach many different lenders to satisfy your needs.

The Content Platform

We have teamed up with the Sussex Business Times to be able to provide topical interesting and relevant local news for our members. On top of that members can expect forums, podcasts, interviews, surveys, premium content, webinars, seminars, e-learning, rich interactive media and so much more.

The Business Services Platform

List your business and offer an incentive for members to buy from you when they present their membership card.

Do a good job and get great reviews and stimulate word of mouth.

Our directory has geo navigation included for customers to get to you easily.

The E-commerce Platform

We charge depending on how many product lines you sold the previous month not how many items you sold. This makes for a very low cost of listing on our site.  In addition, all of our third-party payment fees are charged at cost.

Our Membership options

We have created membership options to suit everybody who is in business in Sussex or who wants to do business in Sussex.  Our memberships can be paid monthly or annually if you want to save on the price and we welcome everyone into our community.

Free Membership

Free members are welcome as are those who want to take advantage of the other services available to our Premium membership.  Free members are just as important to us, and the community, as paid ones. You have nothing to lose.

Corporate Membership

For those of you who want a competitive corporate rate for multiple assignable members then this is the membership for you. There is something for everyone and even our corporate memberships are based on our individual premium membership packages.

Merchant Membership

This is probably the best value e-commerce site you can find. You only pay for what you use. Fees are based on previous months usage, membership period starts 1st of each month and ends last day of the month, marketplace entry at any time and lasts until end of that calendar month, and you can also sell as many products you like at no extra cost.  This also includes no mark up on credit card fees.

Value Added Partners (VAP’s)

These are the guiding lights for County Business Clubs community in the region.  Together they bring a wealth of advice, ideas to help the platform grow.

VAP’s are people and companies that see the value in building the platform, helping the local business and non-business community grow and improve, whilst getting further exposure or earnings from the platform for their own business.

VAP’s share in the revenue generated from their referrals and earn a very generous credit to be used against advertising, sponsorship and other marketing services we offer to further grow their business on the platform

For the select few, we are offering invitation-only founder memberships.
