The Starr Trust Charity Golf Day

The Starr Trust charity held its annual Golf Day on May 18^th at the prestigious Singing Hills Golf Club in Albourne. This popular event, now in its fifth year, provided a great day of golf and a chance for over 50 local businessmen and women to relax and do some networking.

The beautiful 18-hole course was specially designed for the event and the attentive staff provided by Singing Hills plus the beautiful surroundings, really helped the event to go with a swing!

There was even a chance to win a brand new ” Kia Soul Caribbean” car provided by Tates of Pycombe although unfortunately for the golfers, none of them managed to get a hole-in-one on hole 9!

Various prizes were awarded throughout the day by sponsors Beales and Collins and Hayes but the well deserved winning team was Crosby & Woods Solicitors in Hove. These and other local businesses managed to raise a whopping £4052 which will help children and young people living in the BN postcode to fulfil their potential.
