Wine Tasting with a True Personal Touch from Elwood Wines

‘On Tuesday March 29, we had an amazing wine tasting evening with Karl Elwood, of Elwood Wines. 

After an initial discovery call, Karl got to know our likes and dislikes and prepared a personalised tasting for us. On the day of the tasting, my package arrived at my house with a selection of 5 wines for us to try – along with instructions and Karl’s recommendation for some cheese to compliment the wine.

During the zoom call that evening, Karl took us on a journey – exploring the wines’ smell and taste. He allowed us to give feedback on each and learn about the grape variety and region the wines originated from. 

With over 20 years’ experience, Karl’s knowledge is second to none and made the evening both fun and enjoyable – and all in the comfort of our own home. The whole experience, from start to finish, was fantastic, it felt extremely personalised and special, and I cannot recommend this enough.

I am already looking forward to our next tasting to see what gems Karl has chosen for us as we continue my wine education and he helps to improve my knowledge of wine.
