With news that SMEs are being affected now more than ever by online fraudsters and with threats becoming copious, local business leaders are aiming to help SMEs tackle the issue as a part of the Best4Biz conference, which will be held at the De La Warr Pavilion in Bexhill on Friday 14th October.

Cyber crime is just one of the hot topics up tor debate at the Best4Biz conference, with a breakout session dedicated solely to highlighting the general risks of cyber attacks, as well as how SMEs are being increasingly targeted and a demonstration of some of the tricks and techniques used by cyber criminals.

Sussex business leader and ACES member, Jason Fry from PAV i.t, who will be hosting the afternoon session commented: “Understanding how cyber criminals work and the techniques they employ to trick businesses into handing over sensitive information is half the battle. It is a constantly evolving issue and one that all companies should be aware of – not just anecdotally, but in real terms so that they can address any loopholes in their systems that leave them vulnerable to ensure they are safeguarded from potential cyber attacks.
