#StartupSeptember gives South East Entrepreneurs opportunity for success
13th September 2021The Let’s Do Business Group is hosting a month long campaign throughout September, highlighting the range of services and support available to those looking to turn their hobby or idea into their own business, making business ownership accessible to all.
Aptly named #StartUpSeptember, this campaign will provide daily advice, recommendations, information on funding available, and details of the variety of Start Up Programmes delivered by the Group that can give those just starting out the right tools to get their business off the ground. The Group will also be running two face-to-face events during the month, giving people in the local area the chance to speak to experienced advisors and complete a 2 session Start Up workshop.
The Let’s do Business Group originated in Hastings more than 25 years ago as a local Enterprise Agency. Now they are a leading provider of business support, finance and training across the South East and East of England. In the last eight years the Group have helped over 4000 people to fulfil their dreams to start a business, by providing high-quality, independent advice and training as well as access to finance such as Start-Up and Business Loans.
Already successfully delivering two regular Start-Up workshop programmes, Her Biz across Kent and Sussex and ‘Ready for Business’ for people in Hastings and Bexhill, aspiring business owners can also book onto the face to face My Biz programme.
Registration for these three programmes are open, and details can be found on the Let’s do Business website www.ldbgroup.co.uk.
Rachel Pullen, a recent attendee of the Her Biz Programme stated:
“I was lucky enough to stumble across the Let’s Do Business Group by a recommendation from a friend. I was in the early stages of setting up my business and feeling quite overwhelmed with all the information out there online, in forums and in books. I attended the Her Biz Women’s Startup Programme, a 4 week course that delved into the fundamentals from financial planning to marketing strategy to business plan research. It was brilliant – concise, clear and very accessible. I came out filled with confidence and with a host of resources and knowledge to kick start my journey. Would definitely recommend!”
For those looking for some in person advice, #StartupSeptember will see the return of face-to-face events with two opportunities to seek guidance being held at Hastings Library.
The first of these events is being held on Wednesday 8th September. From 9.30am – 5pm and will give visitors the opportunity to talk to business advisors and network with other aspiring business owners to share ideas, advice and experiences. The afternoon will be offering clinic appointments, where there will be the opportunity to prebook 30 minute sessions with either business advisor Rupert Kirby or accountant Sam Carter from Ashdown Hurrey. Appointments can be booked at https://www.letsdobusinessgroup.co.uk/events/hastings-library-starting-your-own-business
The Group are also an official delivery partner of the Start Up Loan Company and are able to offer loans from £500 to £25,000, alongside business support to get your idea off the ground.
Offering an all in one package, #StartupSeptember is set to really open up the opportunities available to the future business owners of the South East, helping to create the next generation of successful entrepreneurs, and the ‘Let’s Do Business Group’ are right at the centre.
