COLOUR: A Chromatic Promenade Through the Royal Pavilion
21 March – 19 October 2025
Step into a dazzling world of colour at the Royal Pavilion this spring. COLOUR invites visitors to explore the power and beauty of colour as it was felt in George IV’s era. This immersive exhibition will take you on a journey through the Pavilion’s richly decorated interiors, highlighting bold, glossy hues and muted, mindful palettes.
From artist collaborations to hands-on workshops, this exhibition is more than a feast for the eyes — it’s an invitation to feel the transformative magic of colour. Co-sponsored by an award winning UK paint brand, COLOUR promises to be one of the year’s most talked-about events. Preston Manor & Gardens Reopens Its Doors
5 April 2025 – October 2025
After five years of hibernation, the historic Preston Manor & Gardens is ready to welcome visitors once again, with a new story to tell. Step back in time to the Edwardian era, where the elegance of upstairs society meets the bustling intrigue of downstairs life. Think Downton Abbey, but with a Brighton twist.
This atmospheric stately home is steeped in history and mystery. Known as one of Britain’s most haunted houses, Preston Manor has long been the site of ghostly tales. Dare to visit and decide for yourself!

The In Crowd: Mod Fashion and Style, 1958–1966

Calling all fashion and music lovers! Brighton Museum & Art Gallery presents The In Crowd: Mod Fashion and Style, a celebration of the iconic Mod subculture that redefined youth identity in the 1960s.
From sharp tailoring to bold accessories, the Mods turned rebellion into an art form, blending music, fashion, and creativity into a modern, quintessentially British aesthetic. This exhibition traces the roots of Mod culture, its influence on fashion and music, and its enduring appeal.
Featuring original outfits, accessories, photography, and ephemera, this show is not to be missed.
